Volkswagen Tiguan
Maybe you've seen billboards or print ads hawking the wares of H&M, a European-based department store that opened its doors in the United States a few years ago. The glossy ad campaign does a great job of conveying the retailer's formula for success: clothes with a European feel, at prices that are more Kmart than Bloomingdale's. Volkswagen, of course, has long used a similar formula, offering vehicles with Germanic personalities at prices that navigate the distance between economy and entry-level luxury. The latest example of this strategy is the company's first compact crossover SUV, the 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan.
Nissan GT-R: Design/Fit and Finish
The GT-R's cabin is filled with the same high-quality, soft-touch materials found in Nissan's more expensive offerings, while adding more leather surfaces, alloy trim and Alcantara faux suede seating inserts. It's not luxurious, but it's not cheap either. Some may expect more luxury for this sort of money, but keep in mind, more luxury will come with either a massive performance drop or a massive price increase.

Honda CR-V EX-L
Function
On the safety front, the 2008 Honda CR-V sports six airbags, active front headrests and stability and traction control. Additionally, we had no problem installing a child safety seat in the CR-V, and the roomy backseat made strapping a child in relatively easy.
